Billie-Jaye Brougham

Current PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide's School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, investigating the effects of maternal supplementation of betaine and guanidinoacetic acid during mid-to-late gestation on twin lamb survival. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Animal Science) in 2018 and completed an Honours Degree of Bachelor of Science where I was awarded with First Class Honours. Growing up on a farm on the West Coast of South Australia, I have always been eager to pursue a career in animal production. I am passionate about continuing to improve the Australian sheep industry through the application of novel strategies such as supplementation as a means to increase both the survival and welfare standards of neonatal lambs.
