Presentation title: Growing pains: Dilemmas in the management of growth disorders.
Speaker: Professor Wayne Cutfield
Synopsis: Professor Wayne Cutfield will lead an interactive case based presentation that will explore management dilemmas across a variety of growth conditions. This will include genetic testing in short stature disorders, who, when, how? Growth hormone treatment in young adults with Prader Willi Syndrome, what are the benefits and risks? Apparent non-responders to growth hormone treatment, what next?
Professor Cutfield has served for many years as an elected member of the KIGS International Executive Scientific Committee which was responsible for KIGS analyses, presentations and publications.
