Bobbie E Lewis Baida

Current PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide's School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, investigating the physiological and behavioural responses of heat stress in free-ranging sheep. I am passionate about increasing sheep productivity through sustainable means and bringing efficiencies to farm data collection, analysis and decision-making with the use of novel, sensory technologies. Winner of the 2021 SARDI Bursary for 'Women in Science'. Participant at the annual Livestock Advisor Updates virtual conference, Ingenuity exhibition and Farmers for Climate Action Fellowship. Establishing networks with researchers across faculties and institutions, including Engineer, Climate and Behavioural Scientists, as well as the Davies Livestock Research Centre and South Australian Research and Development Institute.
