Lydia Baird
Lydia completed a Bachelor of Biomedicine at the University of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in 2021. She has recently completed an honours research project in 2022 with the Translational Obstetric Group at Mercy Perinatal. She investigated the expression and function of a novel retrotransposon, PEG10 in early-onset preeclampsia. She is supervised by Prof Tu'uhevaha Kaitu'u-Lino and co-supervised by Dr Fiona Brownfoot, Dr Elif Kadife and Dr Lucy Bartho.
