Jessica L Sandy

I am completing my final year of paediatric endocrine training as diabetes research and clinical fellow at the Children's Hospital at Westmead. I trained at the Sydney Children's Hospital Network and the Evelina London Children's Hospitals (Guys and St Thomas' Trust). My special research interests within paediatric endocrinology include rare bone diseases, diabetes including global health and epidemiology, and thyroid cancer. I have also obtained my FRACP in general paediatrics in 2020. My research to date has includedbeing part of the APEG XLH Writing Group looking at modern management of X-linked hypophosphataemia with burosumab and working with Life For a Child on diabetes epidemiological research. My current position at The Children's Hospital at Westmead with Professor Craig involves assisting in ongoing type 1 diabetes clinical trials, including CoRD, ENDIA, and ADDN.
