Sarah Beer
After completing a master’s degree investigating the prevalence of malnutrition at Starship Child Health and the use of malnutrition screening tools in that setting, Sarah went on to become a Clinical Dietitian working in many areas throughout the hospital. She has been involved with the paediatric diabetes team for the last four years and has also spent the last two years working with the inpatient eating disorders service. This provided her a unique opportunity to work with patients with co-morbid type 1 diabetes and an eating disorder.
