Erin Sharwood
Erin is a Senior Staff Specialist Paediatric Endocrinologist at Queensland Children’s Hospital, working across both public and private practice. She completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2008 and has since worked in paediatric and adult endocrinology and oncology units across Melbourne, the Sunshine Coast, and Brisbane.
Erin has a particular interest in the short- and long-term endocrine sequelae of childhood cancer treatment, as well as disorders of puberty and transition into adult endocrine care.
She is currently undertaking a PhD examining circadian activity, hormone rhythms, and body composition in survivors of childhood brain tumours.
